Hajime Aikawa | Kamen Rider Blade | Will Match Format

This is not at all what Hajime had expected when the stupid pop-up had popped up. It really should have been more specific when it referred to saving the world. So now he's here, in this strange place, and there is a little puffball of a Kyaromon doggedly clinging to his shoulder. He has tried to remove it. Gently. It has resisted all attempts to remain removed for long, and so, for now, he's just trying to ignore it while he takes in his new surroundings.

That's okay, Kyaromon doesn't mind being ignored. Kyaromon may not even realize he's being ignored. The little Digimon's got a constant stream of chatter going and this shows no sign of letting up. "Do you think it took them long to get the streamers up? I like the streamers, I think they should leave the streamers out all the time, it's nice when things look all festive and I think they should have parties more often, or if they had parties more often, do you think that means they wouldn't be special anymore and they'd lose some of what makes a party a party, or do you think the party would stay just as fun several days into the party, or would it be hard to party for that long, or..."

Hajime's expression remains flat; he is trying very hard to just let the Digimon wear itself out. It doesn't help when Kyaromon spots someone nearby and yells, "HEY, DO YOU LIKE STREAMERS?" like he is going to try to rope someone else into this one-sided conversation.

Weird slug-things are attacking, and this, this Hajime can do. He sets Kyaromon down and tries his best to dart off behind a building to transform into Kamen Rider Chalice so he can fight the slug-things, because this is something that finally makes sense. It's just that he's not hitting them quite as hard as he was expecting, which might be a problem.

But it's not like Kyaromon stayed where Hajime left him. Of course he followed. Of course he witnessed his Tamer's super-cool transformation. Of course he's going to help! He's charging in there, gamely using his Tail Swing in an attempt to knock the Numemon Hajime's grappling with back, and in the excitement of the moment, "Kyaromon, evolve! Cutemon!" The puffball has attained larger limbs and even more of a commitment to the concept of cute. "Yeah! We're gonna get 'em now!"

Hajime can't really comment; he's busy catching that pink sludge that was hurtling right towards the newly-evolved Digimon. Reflex kicks in, and he hurls it right back at the Numemon that threw it in the first place.

"Oh," Cutemon comments, "I think you made him mad."
