I've always enjoyed cooking for myself, and I happened to have a chance meeting with a man named Lyngsath who ran a restaurant- the topic of cookery came up in conversation, and he offered me a trial run at his restaurant. I'm happy to say I learned a great deal, but it's far too fast-paced for my liking. We parted on amicable terms, and I still stop in from time to time for his advice in my baking."

"Huh. I never woulda guessed."

"I'm sure you know how it is, you always crave the tastes of youth. My mother used to make a very simple dish with aubergines, popotoes, and peppers- it's actually always been one of my favorites. Very spicy, I've been told, but it's a taste of home, you know? Lately, though, I stumbled across a recipe for chocolate biscuits with coffee in and I confess I've been completely addicted."
